The Ultimate Guide to Offshore Tax Havens

This book is a detailed listing of all the known, and not so commonly known, Tax Havens, their benefits, and their suitability for relocation by the low tax seeker. If you are looking for ways to cut your taxes, there is no better way than to relocate to a low or no-tax haven. However, as we have recently experienced with the South East Asian Tsunamis and earthquakes, it is prudent to select this haven carefully, with more than low tax rates in mind. A must read for all who aspire to changing their lifestyles by relocating offshore. The havens are listed in geographical order, starting with the USA and ending in the South Pacific Islands.

From the author

"Let us now look offshore to the places you could move your business, family, and investments, to gain privacy, security, and a reduction or total elimination of your taxes.

Before you read any further, you need to decide if moving offshore is the right decision for you. You can regularly move between half a dozen high tax countries without incurring major taxes, as long as you do not generate any sources of income in these countries, or overstay the minimum period to become a taxable resident there. By the latter, I mean that you should never stay for longer than the 182 days that normally entitles you to be considered a resident for tax purposes.

For instance, if you spend less than 3 months a year in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, or in the many European and Asian developed countries, you would never qualify as a resident for tax purposes, yet you could enjoy the benefits of these countries whilst avoiding their associated tax headaches. To do this, you must first make sure that you are in a financial position to afford such a lifestyle. We will now explore this option by looking at the offshore options available to you worldwide."

Reviews

For anyone wondering about the benefits of going offshore or considering which offshore jurisdictions might suit various personal, business or lifestyle requirements this book will be your definitive resource.

by ShelterOffshore.com

The title perfectly describes the content - this truly is the ultimate guide to offshore tax havens because not only does it detail every single tax haven in the world but it details the exact benefits and restrictions of each allowing anyone to plan their entire offshore strategy.

To enable anyone thinking about restructuring their personal affairs or business offshore ‘The Ultimate Guide to Offshore Tax Havens’ will be a God send.  The book takes a look at the world’s tax havens from the well known such as Jersey, the Isle of Man or the Cayman Islands to the lesser known and examines the exciting opportunities afforded by each tax haven around the world in turn.

But the author doesn’t just believe in stating information and allowing the reader to decipher personal potential from lists of facts, rather he examines case scenarios and presents solutions applicable to everyone hoping to reduce or negate their personal or company taxation liability.

‘The Ultimate Guide to Offshore Tax Havens" even explains how an individual can live between some of the highest taxation nations in the world and legally avoid having to pay tax!  Samuel Blankson is the author of this book and he is dedicated to spreading the word about achieving financial excellence.  This particular title of his presents so many exciting opportunities to the reader from living life as a PT to moving with family to an attractive country and paying no taxation for the rest of your life.

If you would like to understand the concept of living offshore, doing business offshore or structuring all or part of your finances offshore for tax saving, privacy, security and confidentiality this book will take you through every single thing you need to know and understand and present you with opportunities you can readily take advantage of.

This book should probably be essential reading for us all because we all have the right to pay minimum taxation and Samuel Blankson’s book ‘The Ultimate Guide to Offshore Tax Havens’ shows us how to legally reduce or negate our taxation liability.

Achieves a seemingly impossible task

by Vanessa Murray

I was blown away by "Tax Avoidance a Practical Guide for UK Residents", the authors other title and decided to try this book "The Ultimate Guide to Offshore Tax Havens". The first thing I noticed about this book was its size. This is a big book, letter sized and almost 400 pages long. It sets out to achieve a seemingly impossible task, which is to list and comment on all tax havens on the planet. Whilst I can't be sure if it was successful at achieving this objective, I definitely know that it has covered 99.9% of these tax havens. Many of the havens I have never heard of and talking to my colleagues who specialise in taxation for some of these havens, I found that the information was accurate and up to date. They had never heard of many of the tax havens either, and all the havens they knew (even the secret and little known ones) were all listed. This is an excellent reference book on Tax havens. Highly recommended.

Thorough coverage...

by Brigitte Reiss

It's hard to find a single resource with all the offshore tax havens listed. This book promised that and delivered more than I expected. Not only did it have all the usual well know stuff but it also surprised me with some hard to find and damn near unknown secret havens.

If you are interested in relocating offshore or doing business, as my husband and I are, you will find this an invaluable guide. My only criticism is that the flags and maps are not in colour. Apart from that this is an excellent book.
