Do you know how to love?  Many people truly do not know how to do one of the most inherent actions of human beings.  In order to really love another, we must first learn to love ourselves.  In addition, resentments cloud your judgments, making it near impossible to react with the positivity you need in order to make the most beneficial, proactive choices.  This book points out the importance of gratitude and the role it has in bringing positivity back into your life.  “Living the Ultimate Truth” will have you doing just that by the time you come to the end.

Living the Ultimate Truth: 2nd Edition
Do you know how to love?  Do not be ashamed if you do not.  Many people truly do not know how to do one of the most inherent actions of human beings.  How can any of us really practice loving others if we have gotten out of the habit of loving ourselves?  Quite simply, we cannot!  In order to really love another, we must first learn to love ourselves, wholly and without any reserve.

Things that seem impossible have extremely high potential through the power of visualization, and this is just one important feature that “Living the Ultimate Truth” includes within its pages.  Along with fundamental information, the book presents you with useful paradigms to facilitate in making sense of the new information that you will take in, making it effortless to find opportunities to apply the words to everyday life scenarios.

How can you be resentful of events that are occurring in your life if you keep a physical or mental inventory of everything you are thankful for?  Resentments cloud your judgments, making it near impossible to react with the positivity you need in order to make the most beneficial, proactive choices.  By filling yourself with gratitude, you remove some or all of the negativity that holds you back.  The author points out the importance of gratitude within the pages of this book.

Filled with additional wisdom and peppered with applicable quotes, at least one offered on almost every page, “Living the Ultimate Truth” will have you doing just that by the time you come to the end.  Although you will wish the pages had not come to finality, this book will leave you full of all that you need to apply these essential principles to your life.  Will you choose to live the ultimate truth?

From the author

"Since I was 7 years old, I have pondered on the answer to the question, "What is The Ultimate Truth?" I wanted to know where I came from, where I was going, and most importantly, what I was here for. You see, I felt I was here for something special. I could not explain this feeling or justify it logically. I just knew I was here for a special predestined purpose.

As I searched, I was led to various religious doctrines that never truly satisfied me with the answers they offered to the question I posed. Scientific explanations only created yet more questions, and gave few answers. I decided to take a step back from the search, and to observe life for 5 years. As I relaxed and stopped actively searching, the answers were revealed to me through intuition and spiritual revelations. The answers I received were so simple that I found it very difficult to comprehend their validity. I realised that I was asking the wrong question. There will never be an answer to the question "What is The Ultimate Truth," because truths require proof, and The Ultimate Truth cannot be proven scientifically or logically. It can only be felt and lived.

I say that The Ultimate Truth cannot be proven, because we can really never prove where we came from. We cannot go back before the Universe came into being and find out how it happened. And neither can we go forward to when the Universe will cease to be, and find out why and how, and what happens afterwards. We can never explore the times before time and space, and so we are limited to speculation and postulations concerning our true beginnings and our final destination.

That only leaves now, today, where we are, and what we can do with our allotted existential space. So I asked myself, "What will I do with my existence? What will you do with your existence? Through answering this question, you will define your Ultimate Truth. You can only answer this question relatively, relatively to only you. This book covers the keys to defining your Ultimate Truth, relatively to you. The fundamentals are universal, and their application will shape your life and help you Live the Ultimate Truth."

This book quenched my spiritual thirst. After reading this book I felt whole and fulfilled. I have read a lot of books and have never gotten so much out of any. This book came to me at the right time and healed me.

Absolutely inspiring work!
by Stacey Glebes - Molchan & Associates, Inc.

Samuel Blankson’s Living the Ultimate Truth is a book of basic instructions for any individual who wishes to live their very best life.  This guide to achieving success explores topics as varied as generosity, self-control, integrity, leadership and other tips for living a balanced, fulfilling existence.  He discusses the poisons that people allow into their lives such as blame, excesses and gossip, and teaches the importance of communication, both verbal and non-verbal and the importance of listening.

Living the Ultimate Truth places great emphasis on taking control and responsibility for ones own life, and the way we treat the people around us.  Blankson encourages readers to look into their own interactions with others and gain insight into how these interactions have affected their future experiences.  One example he offers is the behaviour of interruption, and how interrupting others during conversations and arguments can make them feel unheard and insulted, and will make it more difficult to work out an agreement on the topic at hand.  This type of interaction will in turn affect the expectations they have for future communications with you and will result in a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts.  Blankson offers tips for improved interactions and problem solving in all areas of one’s life, as well as ways to avoid “dream stealers,” who will try to create doubt in others by questioning their abilities, and planting the seeds of uncertainty.

As a licensed social worker and mental health counsellor, I have recommended this book to both clients and fellow clinicians who have found themselves in a state of feeling trapped by their own negative thoughts and choices.  Years of working as both an outpatient and inpatient counsellor allows me to appreciate Blankson’s focus on positive self-affirmations and the power of these statements to help regain control of one’s own life.  A primary lesson of this insightful read is the notion that you don’t have to stay unhappy.  You have the power to change your current situation by changing your thoughts, which will alter feelings and in turn alter behaviours to create success in your life!  Blankson’s insights into setting appropriate, obtainable goals and the means by which one can work toward these goals is a valuable tool that anyone can use to accomplish their dreams and obtain happiness.

I found that a profound piece of this work is the idea that one has to expect success in their life to achieve it.  You must know that you are capable of great things, and this book will offer readers the confidence to assert themselves and find their personal strengths.  To journey through the pages of Living the Ultimate Truth is to gain insight into the true power every human being possesses, and the role of love in every life.  Harness this knowledge, make it your own and transform your life!

What a great read!
by Marion Jones

What a great read! This is an easy to read motivational book. If everyone read it, we would all become better human beings, regardless of religion, culture or background. It is a great guide -especially if you need help with self confidence, self belief and will be a must if you are struggling to give up smoking, are dieting etc…

I liked the fact that it was not only a great guide to help you set and achieve aims, goals and dreams but also fosters social responsibility. It helps you to understand your own patterns of behaviour and responses but it gives insight into the impact we have on other people.

As a manager, I particularly liked the last chapter that focuses on leadership as it helps you put all you have learned in the book together and gives a fantastic insight into the qualities of an effective manager; it is certainly a book I will be buying my own manager for Christmas!!

Definitely a book to keep next to the bed!
