PracticalBooks was founded by Samuel Blankson in 2003 to host and promote his books. Starting with personal finance and then self help books, the site quickly grew to host taxation, fiction and children's titles.

Although all of Samuel Blankson's books are still hosted on http://www.Practicalbooks.org, in 2008 the emphasis of Practicalbooks.org moved from supporting only Samuel Blankson books, and Samuel K. K. Blankson's books to showcasing other author's books through our affiliation with Amazon in our Book Store. This move dramatically increased the genre list supported by PracticalBooks.

Today, PracticalBooks supports all self-published and unsigned authors from anywhere on the globe, offering professional services to assist authors with publishing and promoting their books as well as still remaining the home of all of Samuel Blankson and Samuel K. K. Blankson's books.
